MACHINE WASHING:
Sort your household linens by fiber (cotton, linen, silk, wool), color (white, light colors) and type of item (sheets, towels, tablecloths).
Don't add garments with parts that could damage fabric (zippers, hooks, metal parts). Make sure the items are unfolded when loading the machine.
Preferably start with a pre-soak in cold water and a little detergent.
TEMPERATURE :
Bed linen - Wash in warm water (maximum 60°C/140°F) with a mild, liquid, biodegradable detergent. Delicates - Cold water (30°C/85°F), final cold rinse, pre-soak.
Use only maximum temperatures for the most difficult to clean items: White 50/60oC - 120/140oF
Colored 30/40oC - 85/105oF
Delicate items with lace and embroidery should be packed in a large, thin mesh bag.
LAUNDRY DETERGENT :
Use a mild liquid biodegradable detergent without added bleaches or whiteners.
Avoid washing powder or detergents containing alkali and ensure the detergent is completely dissolved before the water touches the fabric.
DRYING:
Never use high temperatures when machine drying. Do not place colored items in direct sunlight.
Do not dry longer than necessary.
TO SMOOTHE :
Use a steam iron on a warm/hot setting for cotton.
Use a hot setting for linen and a water spray if necessary.
For best results, iron embroidered linen on the back while damp.
DRY CLEANING:
Luxury fibers such as silk, wool and cashmere are best cleaned professionally.

STORE LINEN:
folded flat in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place.
Long-term storage of linens should be avoided in plastic bags and boxes, as natural fibres need to breathe.
Ensure that stored linens are not exposed to direct sunlight as this can cause permanent yellowing.
